Beaujolais

I don't think it does Beaujolais any favours to say it comes from Burgundy; surely it's a region in its own right. Admittedly, Wikipedia does describe Beaujolais as "part of Burgundy", but it also says "While administratively considered part of the Burgundy wine region, the climate is closer to the Rhône and the wine is sufficiently individual in character to be considered separately from Burgundy and Rhône."

The Discover Beaujolais website seems to agree: "Located north of Lyon in eastern France, Beaujolais overlaps Burgundy in the north and Rhône in the south."
